Our Story | From Nothing To Something

Hoodrich was founded in 2014 by Jay Williams. Born and raised in Birmingham, Jay chose to turn his passion for underground streetwear, musical influences and acquired sartorial know-how into a business. With a £200 start up, the first thirty tees were made. 2017 saw the introduction of cut-and- sew. 2018, editorials shot in LA. Hoodrich is more than just clothing– it’s a lifestyle. The tagline from the very beginning has been from nothing to something and remains a mantra not only believed in but also wholly experienced. Since 2014, Hoodrich has grown from a bedroom brand, one-manned venture to a national operation. Taking direct inspiration from the urban U.K. scene, the brand has been spotted on the likes of Dizzee Rascal, Giggs and Birmingham’s own Mist and Jaykae. Hoodrich embodies the struggle, the come up. Jay aspires for the brand to be known worldwide & communicate with those who like him endeavour to become something. Trust the process, this is just the beginning.
